Troye & Ross Reunite, Andrew Scott Stans & Milk Stains: 10 Things We’re Obsessed With This Week

Troye & Ross Reunite, Andrew Scott Stans & Milk Stains: 10 Things We’re Obsessed With This Week

When was the last time you did something exceptionally homosexual?

As another Pride Month comes to a close, we have one last weekend to fully embrace the flamboyance, turn on the pop playlists, and break out the shorts! Okay, who’s kidding. Being gay is a full-time job, and we’ll be doing all of the above over the 4th of July weekend.

That said, there is a unique kind of energy that you can only get in June. Even the headlines feel more cheerful.

Just last week, Cher thanked the gays, Kit Connor revealed the shirtless actor who lives in his movie role, Travis Kelce showed his love for a Eras tour dancer, Joel Kim Booster blew the Fire Island sequel flames, these Thai actors celebrated the legalization of gay marriage, and Danii Minogue remained fantastic.

On other corners of the internet, we got all excited, planted the seeds, and suddenly had a dairy craving.

For the last time this Pride Month, we present the 10 things we’re obsessed with this week…

1. LOEWE Drink your milk T-shirt

I’m technically lactose intolerant. But there’s something about LOEWE’s new tee –– which is released in collaboration with Jonathan Bailey’s LGBTQ+ charity and is inspired by his Fellow travelers character –– what I want in a whole liter. (From 1 percent, of course. I’m not a monster.)

The suggestive T-shirt –– $235 online –– is already doing well in rebranding leaks, thanks to the fame of the likes of Kit Connor and Ariana Grande.

2. You should be so lucky by Cat Sebastian

I was instantly sold on Cat Sebastian’s new queer romance novel, based on the cover alone. (And I know I’m not the only one who loves baseball pants.) You should be so luckyAvailable for $17 at Barnes & Noble, follows a budding romance between a shortstop with something to prove and a journalist who knows next to nothing about sports. And if that wasn’t messy and hot enough, the story’s setting in 1960s New York certainly raises the stakes. Play ball indeed!

3. JISULIFE portable hand fan

I used to joke about people who carried portable fans. I always thought there was something diva-like about riding the subway, waiting in line, or grocery shopping with your own personal wind machine at the ready. That was until there was a heat wave in New York City and I went hunting for every kind of personal fan I could find that needed to be shipped expeditiously.

The JISULIFE Portable Handheld Fan (on sale for $14.99 at Amazon) is not only affordable, but it’s also rechargeable, quiet, and even has a flashlight. If you’re looking to prepare for triple-digit temperatures, you can’t go wrong with this one.

4. Tactful pettiness with Cody Rigsby & Andrew Chappelle

After sweating every drop of water out of my body watching Cody Rigsby’s Peloton classes, I felt like we were basically best friends. That’s why I was so excited when I heard he was bringing his many opinions to the podcast world with actor Andrew Chappelle for Tactful pettiness. The duo wield their pop culture takes like weapons, spilling tea about love and relationships like there’s a hole in a pot. We’re only two episodes in, but the show has already become my favorite (and cattiest) part of the week. Stream on Spotify or wherever you get your pod fix.

5. Andrew Scott and Phoebe Waller-Bridge during The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift’s series of shows at Wembley Stadium last week was a who’s who affair, with big names like JVN, Paul McCartney, Tom Cruise and even a man named Prince William being dragged out of the house. Still, my favorite celeb performance was from Irish hunk Andrew Scott, who was attached at the hip Flea bag co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

As fan footage reveals, the duo were on their way to the restroom during the three-hour-plus show when they heard the opening riff of Tay’s 2014 holy-pop hit “Style.” Scott grabbed Phoebe’s hand and sprinted back into the crowd… a trade-off I’ve employed more than once in the club.

6. She wrote murder Action figures

Angela Lansbury’s iconic mystery writing and super sleuthing She wrote murder character finally gets the plastic treatment! These cute and intricate novelty figures feel particularly overdue, and I am extremely jealous of generations to come who will never have to know a world without Jessica Fletcher toys. A world of crime is no match for the $39.99 8″ statue and the $17.99 6″ likeness.

7. The reunion of Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis

I’m still anticipating waking up and discovering the sequel to the 2003 film Crazy Friday was just a fever dream. That said, these photos of a very happy Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan holding hands on set make the whole very Really and truly. I don’t know how they’ll handle another body swap, but I’ll be in a Pink Slip shirt on opening night.

8. Inqueeries, a cheeky LGBTQ+ board game

I’m not one to toot my own horn, but my ability to dominate (and occasionally offend) in games like Cards Against Humanity and What Do You Meme is second to none. That said, the Standard decks tend to be a bit light on the LGBTQ+ touchstones, which is why I’m absolutely obsessed with the unabashedly gay party game InQueries, $19.99 on Amazon. With 450 cards written by the community and for the community, I’ve never seen a GAYme night become so, well, gay.

9. Daisy the Dachshund Ceramic Planter

As an unapologetic “dog person” in my mid-to-late twenties, I’ve been talking about adopting my own dog for the past three years. Unfortunately, the lack of square footage, a tight budget, and the crippling fear of being responsible for another living being have kept my dreams at bay.

That said, I’ve been able to practice “responsibility” with Daisy the Dachshund Planter, which retails for $18 on Amazon . She adds a touch of whimsy wherever she goes, protects against root rot, and most notably, doesn’t bark or shed.

10. The Big Reunion of Troye Sivan and Ross Lynch

Drag babe Troye Sivan and Ross Lynch had us gagged with their flirty lap dance moment in the “One of Your Girls” music video. But somehow, they upped the ante with an IRL recreation during the “Rush” singer’s London show. During the performance, Lynch went all out, ripping off his shirt and looking down at Troye, who was strutting around in a black corset top. It’s no exaggeration when I say that if I had a time machine, I would travel to this exact moment. For now, I’ll have to settle for rewatching the OG visual.
