Rick Ross and his crew got into a fight with Drake fans in Vancouver over playing “Not Like Us” at the end of a concert and 50 Cent is once again the voice of reason in the whole affair

TMZ – Rick Ross had a rough night during his performance in Canada. He got into a physical altercation with a guy and a brawl broke out that was caught on film.

It all started after the rapper performed at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver on Sunday. After the performance at around 10:30 p.m., Rick stepped offstage into a crowded area and got into a heated argument with other men over their decision to close the set with Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” track playing in the background.

We hear that the group of about 15 men approached Rick and formed a human wall, preventing him and his crew from moving around them.

Chaos ensued as the two groups clashed, with several men brutally kicking and punching another man.

According to our sources, the fight eventually ended and everyone went their separate ways.

However, Drake, also known as “champagnepapi,” had his say and liked a social media post on X about the attack on Rick.

Things got terribly heated up in British Columbia last night after Rick Ross tried to end his Ignite Music Festival set sweetly by playing Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Lke Us.” His crew was surrounded as they tried to get off the stage and into their vans or SUVs.

Luckily for everyone in this story, this was in Canada, where I’m pretty sure the gun laws are much stricter than in the US, and you’re not allowed to wear protection, whether you’re a professional security guard or not. So what we got was just a good old fashioned 15-on-4 (or 5) with fists.

As always, 50 Cent couldn’t wait to have his say on all the drama.

“Now you know. Don’t come to Canada”

50 also managed to get footage of Rick Ross running to safety and posted that

And footage of Ross’ guard lying unconscious on the ground.

50 is the ultimate troll. He doesn’t give a fuck who it is, whose side they’re on, or how many people they have. You act like a scumbag (like P Diddy), or jump into a rap battle that has absolutely nothing to do with you and try to attach yourself to the winning side like you have something to do with it (like Rick Ross), and 50 Cent comes after you.

Rick Ross learned the hard way here that you win stupid prizes by playing stupid games.

What did he think was going to happen when he played “Not Like Us,” which is essentially a Drake song? dead shot, in Drake’s backyard? (I understand Vancouver is a long way from Toronto, but Drake is a national icon in Canada, not just Toronto. He’s the biggest thing that ever happened to rap music there.)

Even the hot-tempered, impulsive camps of Tupac or Notorious B.I.G. wouldn’t have encouraged them to play “Hit ‘Em Up” or “Who Shot Ya” on enemy territory and rub it in their faces like you’re a tough guy.

At least do your own diss song and walk away playing it behind your 6 foot security guards. You’re still an asshole but people have to at least give you some respect for having balls.

This incident only makes Rick Ross’ involvement in the Drake-Kendrick feud even more bizarre.

Rick Ross has made a lot of money over the years from his collaborations with Drake.

The two of them appearing on a song together has had a pretty staggering success rate of smash hits. Which makes it downright astonishing when Ross attacked Drake and has had even more hits in the past few months. Something that shouldn’t come as a huge surprise coming from a former probation officer turned rapper posing as a drug lord. Something that 50 Cent was quick to point out and has repeatedly taken every opportunity Rick Ross has given him to clown and attack him. The strange thing is that Ross has yet to respond to or attack 50. No one really has. Which just goes to show that no one wants to mess with Curtis Jackson because they know he will bury them if he really wants to. He’s the career killer.
