Tykwan Walker was charged with murder in 2021 after police found Heather Hobbs dead in her home with a gunshot wound to the head, court documents show.

The plea agreement, filed in Allen County Superior Court, calls for Walker to be sentenced to 45 years on the murder charge. The plea agreement also calls for dismissal of his second count of using a firearm, which carries a sentence of up to 20 years, at his sentencing.

Walker was previously extradited from Arkansas in 2022 after he was found and arrested in Green County on charges of first-degree murder and possession of a schedule I or II drug.

Walker is expected to be sentenced on August 9.
