At the board’s annual meeting in May, he was re-elected for a one-year term.

During his first term, Brinkley was instrumental in several notable achievements, including the largest new job announcement in Pitt County to date, the Boviet Solar foreign direct investment project, and the development of a speculative building in Indigreen Corporate Park.

Looking ahead, Brinkley is committed to shaping a future of innovation and sustainability, with plans to further enhance workforce development programs, attract cutting-edge industries and promote a business-friendly environment, according to the official press release.

“It is a true honor to serve as chair of this organization as Greenville-Pitt County continues to enhance economic development throughout the region through business recruitment and retention, site and facility development, marketing and promotion, and talent attraction and retention,” said Brinkley. “We look forward to great success in the future with the collaboration of a skilled team of professionals, a dedicated board of directors, committed public and private partners, and supportive community members.”

The Greenville ENC Alliance, a public-private partnership formed in 2019, is committed to stimulating economic growth and improving the quality of life in the communities of Greenville and Pitt County.
