Drake Teased With “Not Like Us” As USA Basketball Uses Kendrick Lamar’s Diss To Celebrate Canada Win

The last few months haven’t exactly been kind to Drake. In general, you can probably guess why we’d say that. His beef with Kendrick Lamar started out on equal footing. But when “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us” came out, things got scary for the Canadian. Since then, “Not Like Us” has become one of the biggest songs in the world. It continues to rack up millions of streams every day, and even the music video has been a hit.

Last night, the song continued to haunt Drake on a national level. Team USA Basketball took on Team Canada in an exhibition game in preparation for the Olympics. Overall, the United States dominated, which makes sense considering their roster. After the game, “Not Like Us” was blasted over the PA system. USA Basketball members celebrated and danced along on the court, further rubbing it in Team Canada’s face.

Drake can’t escape the song

This isn’t the first time that a Canadian track and field loss has led to chants of “Not Like Us.” After Argentina’s game against Canada on Tuesday, the Argentinian soccer team’s Twitter account tweeted an image that read “Not Like Us.” Needless to say, the song isn’t going away anytime soon. While Drizzy has some summer music planned, it may be tough for him to match the success of Kendrick’s latest hit.

Let us know what you think of Team USA Basketball using this song as a celebration in the comments below. What do you think about “Not Like Us” becoming such a huge phenomenon?
