DJ Akademiks Clowns YG & Roddy Ricch For Not Getting Kendrick Lamar Features

DJ Akademiks has a question for all the West Coast artists who publicly supported Kendrick Lamar for The Pop Out, the “Not Like Us” music video, and his beef with Drake in general. Furthermore, he seems to think that these artists should be demanding features from K.Dot and insinuated that they’re unhappy that he just makes them dance on his content instead of supporting their careers. While Ak didn’t name any artists in particular, it’s clear that he was talking in general about artists like YG, Roddy Ricch, Tyler, The Creator, and others. Whether or not you agree with that statistic, people got a major streaming boost from The Pop Out, so what’s the real problem here?

“Let’s talk about that,” DJ Akademiks began his latest tirade. “For everybody that was at The Pop Out or the BBQ or the f***ing ‘Not Like Us’ video, when y’all get your f***ing Kendrick features? Don’t tell me y’all n***as are just extras in the music video or just on stage to be on stage. When y’all get your Kendrick features? That’s what we need to talk about. When?

DJ Akademiks wants to see feature films between the Kendrick Lamar camp

“Drake is gonna be good,” DJ Akademiks continued. “When y’all gettin’ your features? Cause it’s only so long before y’all can hold the pom poms for Kendrick and not realize y’all an artist too! He took you dancing, n***a, this ain’t gonna fill your bank account. All this… When y’all gettin’ your features? Oh, you ain’t gettin’ your features. Oh, that ain’t happening. He gave you the look in the video. That’s it? Oh! Oh, he back in New York? Oh!

“When y’all gonna get your money to get up on stage and dance like a couple of motherf***ing clowns out there and do all that shit?” DJ Akademiks concluded. “When y’all gonna get the features that’s gonna help y’all shit? I just wanna know!” With all the new music rumors swirling about both Kendrick Lamar and Drake, it’s very possible that this track Ak is presenting won’t age very well.
