Earlier this year, Taylor-Johnson was at the center of some persistent James Bond speculation.
In March, it was reported that he had been offered the role of the spy by Ian Fleming after previous Bond star Daniel Craig was eliminated in No Time to Die.
A production insider denied the reports at the time, telling BBC News that “there is no truth to the rumours”.
In April, the actor himself defended himself against a question about his James Bond role on the red carpet. In an awkward exchange, Taylor-Johnson was asked if he was “fed up” with being constantly questioned about his possible involvement in the spy saga.
After taking a moment and letting out a sigh in response, the star replied, “Are you tired of asking that question?”
“I want to know, so no…” the reporter said, before Taylor-Johnson walked off and said, “All right, have fun.”

Regardless of whether Taylor-Johnson is confirmed for the role of Bond or not, he has received the support of former 007 actor Pierce Brosnan.
“I think the man has the stuff, the talent and the charisma to play Bond, absolutely,” the Irish star told the “Ray D’Arcy Show” when the rumors emerged.
Brosnan added: “I’ve read the news about his possibilities of being a Bond, so I definitely take my hat off to the guy.”
In the meantime, Taylor-Johnson has been working on a few confirmed projects, including Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu,” Marvel’s upcoming film “Kraven the Hunter,” the British gangster film “Fuze” and Danny Boyle’s sequel to “28 Days Later,” titled “28 Years Later.”
