While the lengths of all three compact sedans are quite similar, the Maruti Dzire is noticeably wider than the competition. The extra width of the car can pose a safety risk, but it does offer more interior space. The Tata Tigor’s 419-litre boot space is impressive compared to the competition. All three sedans have engines of the same displacement, with the Dzire’s engine producing slightly more power. The torque figures of all compact sedans are the same. Maruti Suzuki cars are known for their fuel economy and the Dzire is no exception. Both the Aura and the Dzire also have the same fuel tank capacity of 37 litres. When it comes to safety, the Tata Tigor wins out over the competition. It has received 4 stars in the Global NCAP tests. While all base variant sedans come with dual airbags, power front windows are only available on the Tata Tigor.
