Clarksville, Tennessee: – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has closed approximately 100 feet of the westbound lane on Oak Plains Road at the intersection with Old Clarksville Pike for natural gas line repairs.
The natural gas pipeline repair and gas line closure will continue on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Alternating lanes have been set up to avoid the construction site. Motorists are asked to slow down and follow the directions of traffic signs when driving through the construction site or, if possible, take an alternative travel route.
Repairs to the natural gas main are expected to be completed and the lane is expected to reopen around 2:30 p.m. each day.
