He delivered three tracks and a ton of unreleased behind-the-scenes footage. There was about 100GB of material, and as you can imagine, fans loved it. However, there were some clips and pieces of media that left some hip-hop observers less enthusiastic.
A typical example is the following picture. It is an illustrated album cover for Certified Loverboy. This is one of the options Drake had in mind, but he ultimately went with the cover with the pregnant emoji. The alternate cover features Drake running a studio that is full of naked women. It’s a somewhat crudely drawn illustration, and as it turns out, fans aren’t feeling it at all. In fact, most fans remember some of Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics from “Meet The Grahams.”

In the tweets below, you can see various screenshots and quotes from the now infamous diss track. Others were simply amazed that Drizzy would make something so tasteless his album cover. Additionally, there were some who were baffled that Drake even wanted us to know. Regardless, it’s clear that the artist has made some polarizing choices lately. Sure, the new songs are good. However, the BTS material has left a bad taste in many people’s mouths.
