For Jane Winchester Paradis, founder of Jane Win Jewelry based in Wayne, the seventh year in business is a lucky one, writes Antonia DePace for the Philadelphia Magazine.
“For me, the number seven is a big number,” she said. “It has always been my lucky number, especially because I have a family of seven.”
Over the past year, the brand has seen a massive influx of new and returning customers.
“The ‘work’ shifted for me, the load became a little lighter and I was able to have a good time,” said Winchester Paradis. “And in 2024, I’m riding that wave.”
The brand’s latest Lucky Numbers collection is a series of bamboo-decorated coins featuring lucky numbers.
“When my aunt turned 80, I made her a coin with the number 80 in flowers,” said Winchester Paradis. “I wanted to give everyone something like that.”
Jane Win has now moved to new, much larger premises in Wayne.
“We painted the walls with a special lavender graffiti design,” said Winchester Paradis. “We want you to feel like you’ve stumbled upon a unique cabinet of curiosities when you enter the exhibition space.”
