“Hollyoaks” star Callum Kerr has undergone a dramatic transformation since leaving the Channel 4 soap earlier this year.
Callum confirmed that PC George Kiss is long gone – literally – and shared a daring new look with his fans as he prepares for a brand new project filming in Bucharest, Romania.
Showcasing his new hairstyle on Instagram, Callum joked to his followers: “Don’t ask for a short back and sides in Bucharest,” before revealing a very different bleached-blonde look. “#newprojectattached,” he added.

Callum’s mysterious new appearance in Europe comes after his Hollyoaks character George Kiss was recently killed off after being hit on the head outside the village pub The Dog in the Pond.
In conversation with Digital Spy about the murder of PC Kiss in April, Callum admitted that his storyline “could have been longer” but that he was still grateful for his time on the show.
“I’m really grateful that I was able to be a part of it for as long as I was,” he said. “It could have been longer, but it could have been shorter, and I think it was enough time to do the story justice.”

“I think some of the fans who watch the show are already waiting for the storyline to end because they’re demanding an ending! So I think the timing of Hollyoaks was pretty perfect and I’m just really grateful to have been a part of the show.”
Two months later, the aftermath of George’s death is still evident, and Sally St. Claire is determined to free John Paul McQueen from prison for George’s death.
Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with first screenings at 7pm on E4.
