According to one beauty enthusiast, VOLUMINOUS curls can be kept bouncy and frizz-free with the right bargains.
Cezara Robu talked about how she keeps her long hair, which she inherited from her grandmother, in perfect condition.
The 26-year-old civil servant from London has numerous subscribers on YouTube, where she gives beauty and wellness tips.
In an interview with The US Sun, she revealed the products and tools she swears by when it comes to caring for curly locks.
GRATEFUL FOR GRANDMA
Robu said that both of her parents have thick hair, but most of her family members prefer to keep their locks short.
She said the fact that her mother and father were over 60 showed her that genetics played a key role in the thickness of her own locks.
“My grandma had beautiful curly hair when she was over 80 and I am so lucky to have inherited her beautiful curls,” she said.
“My parents attribute the health of their hair to a good diet and are always happy to share health tips.
“They tried to keep straighteners from me and my brothers and reinforced the idea that our natural hair is beautiful, for which I am very grateful.”
WONDERFUL WASHERS
Robu said she doesn’t have to wash her locks more than every five to six days.

She revealed that an often demonized ingredient is an integral part of her hair care routine.
“I have always been a fan of drugstore shampoos and I don’t shy away from sulfates either,” she said
“My hair feels really clean afterwards and all product buildup is removed.”
She currently uses L’Oréal Elvive shampoo and conditioner, which cost $4.99 each at CVS.
Both affordable hair care products received high ratings from buyers.
“I wash my hair twice with shampoo and apply conditioner only to the lengths,” says Robu.
“It’s simple but quite effective. Since my hair is healthy at the moment, I don’t use masks, but I’m thinking of trying some.”
SIMPLE STYLES
Robu said there are several reasons why she always wears her hair open unless she covers it with a cap.
“I like the open look much better than any other hairstyle,” she said.
“I also want my curls to look beautiful and bouncy for as long as possible.
“If I tie it in a ponytail or bun, the hair is guaranteed to stretch and my efforts on wash day are wasted.
“Apart from that, I have a very sensitive scalp, so any updo for a long period of time pulls on my scalp and is quite painful.”
Nowadays I style my hair without a hairbrush and am even happier with the results.

She said many people are unaware of how damaging their everyday hairstyle can be to the health of their hair.
Tight hairstyles like ponytails are taboo for them for more than a few hours.
“On days when I tie my hair up, I opt for braids, a low ponytail or a low, loose bun and wear satin hair ties,” she said.
“I also avoid tying my hair in the same place all the time.
“This can cause hair breakage at the point of contact with the hair tie, especially if the hair tie is not made of silk or satin.”
GREAT TOOLS
Robu rarely uses a hairbrush to style her curls because it is time-consuming and difficult with long hair.
However, when she wants perfect curls for special occasions, she turns to a product available at Target.
“For the perfect spiral style, I use the Denman D81M, which is perfect for creating tension and creating a frizzy curl design,” she said.
“I want to try the new viral hairbrush from Bounce Curl and hope to get my hands on it soon.
“These days I style my hair without a hairbrush and am even happier with the results.
“I find that the extra curling creates a more voluminous and natural look.”
She revealed that the Dyson diffuser is an “indispensable” tool in her daily styling routine.
“Even though I don’t use the diffuser attachment on my hair, it still goes a long way toward making my hair super curly and bouncy when it dries,” she said.
“The longer we leave the water in the hair, the more stretched the curls become.”
Whether “long, short, curly, defined, straight,” Robu said people should embrace their natural hair if they want it to grow.
“We’re all trying to figure it out, and the pressure to have the perfect, long, defined spiral curls is already so great,” she said.
“If you want to wear it straight, then do it. If you want to embrace the frizzy hair, then do it.”
“But if you want to grow it long, be patient and follow my tips.”
