Reality star Katie Prince has revealed the results of her facelift, which she underwent in Turkey and which caused her to miss her court hearing.
Katie was due to appear in court for a bankruptcy hearing last week (Tuesday, July 30) but instead flew to Istanbul for the £10,000 procedure.
On Instagram, Katie informed her fans today (Sunday, August 11) about the latest result of her surgery.
Katie posted a snap on her stories with just a few patches on her eyebrows. She wrote: “I have to say one week after facial surgery at @trioclinicistanbul I am incredibly happy with the results. Bruising and swelling are literally gone, almost gone. Pricey is finally happy,” followed by a laughing emoji.
It’s been a busy week for Katie, who was arrested at Heathrow after missing her court date and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed her arrest in a statement, saying: “A 46-year-old woman from Surrey was arrested at Heathrow Airport at 7.45pm on Thursday 8 August for failing to appear in court.”
“She was remanded in custody at a west London police station and is due to appear in court tomorrow, Friday 9 August.”
Katie had previously stated that she was “not running away from the issue” but was “working on a documentary about plastic surgery” at the time of the trial.
In a now-deleted statement on Instagram, she wrote: “I am aware that I am being detained at the airport, which the courts obviously deem necessary.
“Of course, for the sake of my son, who is with me, I hope that they will at least give him some dignity and protection, because it would be extremely disturbing for him to have to witness this. Although I understand the importance and seriousness of the matter, I feel like I am being treated like a criminal.”
Today (Sunday 11 August) police were photographed arriving at Katie’s rental property in Sussex.
Katie’s boyfriend JJ Slater, 31, was photographed answering the door to police. The Married At First Sight star stood topless in the doorway while speaking to officers. After a brief conversation, JJ eventually let officers into the building to speak to Katie. Officers spent several hours in the building before later leaving.
The next hearing is scheduled for August 26. Katie acknowledged that there might be a clash with other court dates, but assured that she would adjust her schedule accordingly.
