Collectibles company Panini America has announced its partnership with rock band The Rolling Stones. The company will launch Prizm The Rolling Stones, the first fully licensed trading card set spanning the band’s entire career. The collection will include a base set of 100 cards and more than 15 color parallels.
The card set follows the band’s Hackney Diamonds 2024 North American tour and is designed to celebrate more than 60 years of the band’s music, touring and more. The collection is led by Panini’s Color Blast, which features band members Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood in front of the Tongue and Lips logo. Collectors will find this in the hobby and retail sleeves.
“The Rolling Stones are an iconic brand, a staple in music history and have millions of loyal fans around the world,” said Mark Warsop, CEO of Panini America. “We are proud to partner with them and share our products that celebrate their legacy and so many of their unforgettable moments. We think fans will be very excited.”
The company will also release special die-cut cards, including albums showcasing the band’s discography and Prizm’s unique card styles. In addition, the die-cut cards will include Hot Lips, the band members in front of the Tongue logo die-cut at the top; International Lips, more than 20 different Tongue and Lips cards featuring regional flags and colors; and stubs covering the wide range of The Rolling Stones’ tours.
“We are thrilled to be working with Panini on this career-spanning collection that celebrates the history, success and continued global appeal of the Rolling Stones. Panini’s focus on premium design and collectibility make this partnership perfect for Rolling Stones fans around the world and we can’t wait to show them what’s planned,” said Matt Young, President of Bravado.
Collectors will find a second group of supplements, including “The Original Stadium Show,” which shows the band’s many stage sets, “Behind the Scenes,” “Backstage” and “Studio,” “Singles,” the cover art of chart hits, and “Poster Perfection,” original posters from concert and tour documentaries.
Future collections with the Rolling Stones will be announced as the partnership progresses.
