On Thursday, July 18, the 31-year-old Rare Beauty founder dressed up to attend her brand’s latest launch, True to Myself Pressed Finishing Powder, in Los Angeles.
Gomez wore pure glamour for the occasion. Her new long hair was styled into voluminous beach waves by star hairdresser Marissa Marino. The star’s long-time makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, created an equally sexy makeup look consisting of sensual smokey eyes, soft pink blush and glossy pink lips.
Her favorite nail artist, Tom Bachik, went for a classic nude shade. On Instagram, Bachik shared that he used Gel-X extensions from Aprés Nail, which he filed into an oval shape, then applied a coat of the brand’s Gel Couleur in the shade Forgotten Film.
The Only murders in the building Styled by Erin Walsh, the star wore a khaki dress by Carolina Herrera and sparkly jewelry by Effy Jewelry.

Gomez shared Vanngo’s post on her Instagram stories and also posted what looks like a BTS photo. In the image, the star is sitting on a chair in a white bathrobe, her long, dark hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail. She is also wearing similar smoky makeup.

In conversation with her Only murders in the building Co-star Martin Short (who appeared as guest host) showed Gomez her new long hair, which was parted on the side and styled in a sleek blow-dry.
She wore a chic black Versace dress paired with black pumps and over $30,000 worth of jewels from Simon G Jewelry. Gomez’s makeup consisted of sleek eyeliner, glittery eyeshadow and rosy lipstick.

The star had previously rocked a rocky mid-length style for a while. In June, she attended the Cannes Film Festival, where she wore both retro waves and a sleek ponytail.

This week, Gomez received her first Emmy nomination for her role as Mabel Mora in Only murders in the building. Shortly after her nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series was announced on Wednesday, July 17, the star reposted an article announcing the news.
“🥲,” she simply wrote on the repost on Instagram Stories.
She later posted another story of herself and a cake with frosting that read, “Congratulations, Emmy nominee!”
“I’m honored and so grateful,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you @onlymurdershulu for giving me Mabel.”
