Currently, only one destroyed bridge remains to be restored in the region – it is located in the village of Voronivka, Voznesensk district.
This was announced by the deputy head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Valentyn Haidarzhy, during a briefing on August 9. NikVesti reports.
According to him, the reconstruction of the bridge was to have been carried out at the expense of the Czech Republic, but this process has been delayed and the regional authorities are currently looking for other financing options.
“As for the bridge in Voronivka. Before it was transferred to him, it was without an owner – there was no balance keeper. About two months ago, potential investors approached us and said that the Czech Republic would help us with the restoration. But currently the process is dragging on. We have provided all the necessary information, the municipality has accepted this bridge as a balance, because without it it is impossible to repair it. The process continues, but slowly. Therefore, we are considering other options for its restoration. To be honest, we were counting on the Czechs and thought that if we finished the bridge in Voznesensk, they would build this one too. But it happened as it happened,” said Valentyn Haydarzhi.
Repair of roads in the Mykolaiv region
The Local Roads Agency will spend 691 million hryvnia on the operational maintenance of roads in the Mykolaiv region in 2024 – the tender was announced in April. And in March of this year, the service announced another tender for the operational maintenance of roads, including two bridges in Mykolaiv – Varvarivskyi and Inhulskyi.
In Snihurivka, they plan to repair three roads during the year – 7.3 million hryvnia will be spent on this. And 5.8 million hryvnia will be spent on repairing roads in the village of Kostiantynivka near Yuzhnoukrainsk.
In the summer, 2.3 million hryvnia will be spent on road repairs in Bashtanka in the Mykolaiv region
Another 38.8 million hryvnia will be spent on repairing part of the T-15-13 Nechayane – Ochakiv state road.
NikVesti It was also reported that the repair of bridges and roads destroyed by the war in the Mykolaiv region is underway. 20.4 billion hryvnias are needed just to rebuild the destroyed bridges and roads of state importance in the region.
After the start of the full-scale war with Russia, about 850 kilometers of roads were damaged in the Mykolaiv region, which is 25% of the total road length in the region. By the summer of 2023, 244 kilometers of roads were repaired in the Mykolaiv region.
