We love a happy ending, and the latest winners of Love Island USA just got theirs. On the Season 6 finale, Kordell Beckham and Serena Page were declared the winners and now, two weeks later, the two have just announced that they have made it official. They are boyfriend and girlfriend!
Love outside the island
Both Kordell and Serena announced their new relationship on their respective social media pages. The Love Island winners had arranged to go on a dinner date when Kordell made his first move.
“I just asked her out on a date and she said yes,” Kordell announced in his Instagram stories.
Shortly after, Serena shared a video on TikTok documenting the full extent of their dinner. They knew Love Island fans were dying to see what happened after the villa, so they deserved to be so theatrical.
“He asked if he could be my boyfriend,” Serena excitedly told her followers in the video. “I have a boyfriend, guys.”
Kordell joked in the background that she initially said no, but that was definitely not the case. Serena beamed and gushed about her husband. She looked absolutely in love.
The two lovebirds spoke to People about what would happen next with their relationship, and they were confident that their long-distance relationship would not be a problem. Kordell lives in Dallas, while Serena lives in Los Angeles. They are both completely unfazed by it and are in no rush to make a move.
“I’ll move there when she’s ready. I know she has to figure everything out and stuff like that. I want her to have as much time as she needs,” Kordell explained.
We wish Kordell and Serena the best of luck with their long-distance relationship. We keep our fingers crossed that it doesn’t end up like most other reality TV relationships.
