Skoda India has announced revised prices and a new model range for its popular Kushaq and Slavia models. The new strategy aims to make the Skoda brand more accessible to a wider audience in the Indian market. According to Petr Janeba, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, the new price cut is a direct benefit of the new-found efficiency in the processes. The Skoda Slavia benefits from discounts of up to Rs 100,000, while the Kushaq’s prices have been reduced by up to Rs 220,000. Here is a complete price breakdown by model variant.

Skoda Slavia price cut: Up to Rs 1 Lakh
Skoda has simplified the number of variants offered for the Slavia by introducing a new nomenclature. The new trim designations are Classic (base), Signature (mid-range) and Prestige (top-range). Currently, the Slavia 1.0 is offered in all three variants with a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The Slavia 1.5, on the other hand, is only available in the mid-range Signature variant and the top-range Prestige variant, with both manual and automatic transmission.
Prices for the new model start at Rs 12.67 lakh and go up to Rs 22.14 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Compared to the outgoing Slavia Active, the new Classic variant is Rs 94,000 cheaper. Similarly, at the top end of the scale, the new Slavia Prestige DCT variant is priced at Rs 22.14 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), making it Rs 14,000 cheaper than the outgoing Style variant.

Skoda Kushaq price cut: Up to Rs 2.2 lakh
Compared to the Slavia, the new Skoda Kushaq gets a higher discount of up to Rs 2.2 lakh. Along with the new variants, the Kushaq will continue to be offered in Onyx and Monte Carlo trim levels. The 2024 Skoda Kushaq is priced between Rs 12.91 lakh and Rs 22.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Prestige variant replaces the Monte Carlo as the top trim level of the Kushaq and is priced between Rs 19.02 lakh and Rs 22.25 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The Monte Carlo variants enjoy a significant price cut of Rs 1.69 lakh to Rs 2.2 lakh.

Skoda Kushaq and Slavia: Updates
Compared to the previous models, the new Kushaq and Slavia retain all the comfort features including electrically adjustable seats and the larger touchscreen infotainment system. In terms of mechanicals, Skoda claims that the 1.0-litre TSI engine has been made E20 compliant, while the 1.5-litre TSI unit will receive this update by the fourth quarter of 2024. Currently, Skoda is working on the facelift models for the Slavia and Kushaq, which will introduce the 360-degree camera and the ADAS package.
