The Paris 2024 Olympic Games have reached the finish line. The last edition of the Summer Games offered spectators many electrifying performances and unexpected superstars, but now it’s time for the closing ceremony.
This year’s closing ceremony will be a more traditional event than the opening ceremony, which featured the Parade of Nations on the Seine. The closing ceremony will take place at the Stade de France, the country’s national stadium, and will include the handover of the Olympic flag to the organizers of the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.
But traditional doesn’t mean boring. The Stade de France has been transformed into a huge concert hall and more than a hundred “artists, acrobats, dancers and circus performers” are expected to take part in the festivities.
