14 rappers who still support Donald Trump

Some of hip-hop’s biggest artists still support former President Donald Trump despite his ongoing legal battles. In 2023, Trump was indicted on 34 counts for falsifying New York business records ahead of the 2016 election. Last August, he was indicted on 13 counts, including one count of organized crime and several counts of fraud and false statements in Fulton County, Georgia. Last May, Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts in his hush money trial in New York.

Nevertheless, several rappers are supporting their Republican presidential candidate for 2024. In an interview with comedian Theo Von on his Last weekend In a podcast last October, Sexyy Red praised Trump for pardoning Lil Wayne and distributing stimulus checks during his term from 2017 to 2021.

Longtime supporter Kodak Black also still stands behind Donald Trump. In 2021, Trump pardoned Yak, who was serving a four-year prison sentence for a weapons offense. The rapper’s time behind bars was the result of an arrest in May 2019. Kodak believes people have hated Trump since the former president himself was arrested last April.

In the past, rappers like Kanye West, Fivio Foreign, and 6ix9ine have expressed their support for Donald Trump. Even some of the current rap stars have shown their support for Donald.

For example, New York drill rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow welcomed Trump during a rally in the Bronx, NY in May 2024. During the event, the two rhymers took the stage and Sheff signed Trump’s signature. In Philadelphia, OT7 Quanny showed brotherly love to Trump during his campaign appearance in the rapper’s hometown in June 2024. During his speech, Trump shouted out to Quanny and thanked him for proudly wearing his “Make America Great Again” hat.
