19-year-old arrested for rape and robbery in Lockland

LOCKLAND, Ohio (WXIX) – A man is behind bars after allegedly robbing a man and stripping him of his clothes at gunpoint during a burglary.

Wayne Smith-Jackson, 19, is being held at the Hamilton County Detention Center on charges of rape and robbery, court records show.

According to a police report, the 19-year-old entered the house through an open window and went into the victim’s bedroom, where he held a gun to his head.

Smith-Jackson then ordered the victim to give him everything he had and to take off his clothes, the report said. The victim was forced to lie on the floor while he searched the room.

According to the documents, the suspect stole the man’s iPhone and PlayStation 5 console. Smith-Jackson also forced the victim to pay him $50 via Cash App.

He then escaped through the back door of the house.

When officers arrived, they found an Uber driver waiting for a passenger named Wayne, court documents say.

Police arrested Smith-Jackson when they saw him coming out of a backyard. They also found the victim’s phone in the suspect’s backpack.

Smith-Jackson will appear in court for arraignment on Thursday morning.
