2023 Topps 206 Low Series Baseball Box Break and Review

2023 Topps 206 Baseball came in just two editions, Low Series and High Series. This was a change from previous years when Topps released many different waves. For example, in 2022 there were five different waves, all with different checklists. Low Series offers a basic checklist of 150 cards. It includes some good rookie names like Corbin Carroll, Triston Casas, Michael Harris II, Gunnar Henderson, Adley Rutschman and Masataka Yoshida.

As always, there are plenty of variations to be found, most of them with the traditional different card backs. Wood Stock parallels and photo variations are also on the checklist. Of course, there are autographs too. Chances are you should pull an autograph from all three boxes, all of which are on the card. Craig Biggio, Vladimir Guerrero, Jr., Henderson, Josh Jung, David Ortiz and Yoshida are among the signature highlights.

I love that it includes former and legendary players. That’s one of the reasons I keep buying the product year after year.

I wish these cards had a serial number. While editions are announced, it would be easier if the numbering was actually printed on the cards.

This used to be an annual, online-only product. However, I haven’t heard anything about the product coming back in 2024. I for one will miss it if it doesn’t return.
