Officials: No emergency was recognized before plane crash in Brazil

I tell people: all information, whether it is from air traffic control or meteorological, is collected in the first phase for later data analysis.” Regional airline Voepass said the plane, bound for São Paulo’s international airport, took off from Cascavel in Paraná state and crashed in the city of Vinhedo, about 80 km northwest of São Paulo, at around 1:30 p.m. (16:30 GMT), killing 61 people on board. Voepass, Brazil’s fourth-largest airline by market share, could not provide further information on the cause of the crash. It had originally reported that 62 people were on board the plane.
