“3 Good Things” is a new event that redefines networking for women

Networking events for women are often reserved for the executive levels and offer highly exclusive and often expensive content that is reserved for members only. This creates an atmosphere that is unattractive and actively excludes a new generation of talent.

This context was the inspiration for “3 Good Things,” a new event series for women in leadership positions from the creative agency The Or.

The goal of 3 Good Things is to create a space where women of all experience levels can connect in a friendly and accessible environment.

Each session begins with a short interview with three inspiring women who have taken an unconventional path or unique approach to get where they are now. Three questions and three answers, after which you have the opportunity to enjoy drinks and make at least three new connections with others in the room.

The first event will take place on Wednesday evening, September 18th (6-8pm).

The functions of the start panel:

  • Co-founder and CEO of The Inkey ListColette Laxton
  • Marketing Manager at Tinder and podcast host Madeline Riley
  • Dyslexia and neurodiversity advocate and Managing Director of ReThink Learning Consultancy, Marcia Brissett-Bailey

The panel will be moderated by Sarah Oberman, strategic partner and co-founder of The Or.

Sarah commented: “Too often the real advice is given behind closed doors, in rooms that not everyone has access to. Or we are presented with the glossy version of events. And then we are left with phrases like ‘accept failure’. So this event is about sharing real stories from a diverse group of women and experiences. And it’s a chance for women (and allies) to meet and support each other.”
