Fruition MKE invites all graphic designers to network, listen to experts, and discuss design industry issues on Tuesday, August 20th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at 825 N. 27th St. Admission is free and refreshments are available for purchase. Registration is required. Click here for more information.

Accountant Latanza Parnell will lead an accounting boot camp on Tuesday, August 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sherman Phoenix Marketplace, 3536 W. Stop by City on a Hill and receive a free vision test and pair of glasses each month. Testing will be held on Wednesday, August 21st from 9am-12pm at 2224 W. Kilbourn Ave. For more information, click here.



Every Wednesday, Daync Academy hosts a free and open to the public Latin night. You can enjoy salsa, bachata and more on Wednesday, August 21st from 9-11pm at 636 S. Sixth St. For more information, click here.

Voces de la Frontera is offering citizenship classes for the English language exam on Wednesday, August 21, from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. at the Mitchell Street Branch of the Milwaukee Public Library, 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. Classes will be offered in English and Spanish and are for those who have been permanent residents for at least five years, or three years or are married to a U.S. citizen. The MKE Black Theatre Festival is in its third year. The three-week celebration of Black arts and culture runs through Sunday, August 25, and includes ticketed and free events including three full productions, a staged reading, a master class, auditions and more.
