2. Olympics: Breaking competitions begin today in Paris. Learn about local breaking coach Antonio Castillo, who founded All 10 Breaking Studios in Takoma Park. Two world-class freestyle wrestlers with strong ties to Montgomery County compete in Paris. Meet wrestlers Kyle Snyder and Helen Maroulis.

5. Vinyl Tag: Montgomery County Public Libraries will celebrate National Vinyl Day with a festival for music lovers on Saturday at the Brigadier General Charles E. McGee Library in Silver Spring. The event is free, features activities for all ages and begins at 10 a.m.
