If you need an excuse for a weekend getaway (or a great day trip), head to Grand Rapids and check out the Art Prize. The international art competition is taking place downtown from September 13-30 and we can’t wait to go! While we’re there, we’ll also head to the Grand Rapids Children’ Museum to check out the temporary exhibit “Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy” and the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow Party is on September 14 and 15.
