The DeSoto County Dream Center, in partnership with the Advanced Dental Implant and TMJ Center, has announced the third annual SMILE Again event. This heartwarming initiative is dedicated to providing essential dental care to underserved people in DeSoto County and helping them “Smile Again.”
The SMILE Again event will return on August 16 at Happy Smiles, 2154 Goodman Road W. #1 in Horn Lake. This year, the plan is to expand the reach to provide free dental care to approximately 100 patients. Last year, 65 DeSoto County patients received free dental care valued at nearly $40,000.
With the help of around 60 dedicated volunteers, both dentists and community members, the SMILE Again event offers a range of treatments including minor fillings, extractions and cleanings. The clinic doors open at 8am and remain open until we reach our capacity for the day.

- Time: The clinic opens at 8 a.m. and remains open until patient capacity is reached
- Services offered: Minor restorative fillings, extractions and cleanings
- Volunteers: Approximately 60 dental and non-dental volunteers
The ultimate goal of the SMILE Again event is to ultimately provide free dental care to 1,000 patients in DeSoto County.
