Just to remind you: Billie Eilish is the 18-year-old singer and songwriter who A) recently swept the four major categories at the Grammys, B) was featured on the March cover of fashionand C) will sing the new James Bond theme song.
In her fashion In this interview, Eilish spoke about her meteoric rise to the top of the charts and her recent Grammy wins (“fucking crazy”). She also revealed how she felt when her relationship with fellow musician Drake hit the rocks, with Eilish revealing that he had been texting her back in 2019, when she was 17.
As EAR! As reported, the singer defended her friendship with the rapper with some very pointed words. “The internet is such a stupid mess right now. Everyone is so sensitive,” she said. “A grown man can’t be a fan of an artist? There are so many people the internet should be more worried about.”
Eilish continued, “So you really want to say Drake is scary because he’s a fan of mine and then you want to vote for Trump? What the hell kind of shit is that?”
This isn’t the first time Drake has allegedly exchanged text messages with a famous teenager. In fact, he once reportedly texted 14-year-old Millie Bobby Brown, telling her he “missed her so much.” The internet took notice at that point, and tweets like the one below went viral.
