Chris is one of the developers of the Fishes of Montana app. This is a great app that anyone who loves fishing or just wants to learn more about the fish in Montana should have on their phone. It really is a wealth of information and the best part is that it is super user friendly and describes the fish in normal language and not technical jargon. No, this is nowhere near your dad’s field guide! Don’t get us wrong, if you want to get into the technical jargon, the app has that too, but most anglers just want to have up-to-date information that can quickly help us when we pull something in and wonder, “What the heck did I just catch?”. Another cool thing is that it lets you find where the species of fish you’re looking for is found in all the lakes and rivers in Montana!
