Team FOLON’s Fallout London is a complete rework of the original game Fallout4 game and includes new quests and stories; one of these quests requires the player to infiltrate the U-96 and steal the voice module. Your quest begins in South London, where you notice the German U-boat floating nearby. When you see it, the quest “Booting Others” will be unlocked. There are a few significant problems, such as games crashing or certain quests not working. The mod’s fantastic storytelling and the immersive reinterpretation of the Stand out world still make it a must-have for fans of the series. While you enjoy the new quests the game offers, After crossing Tower Bridge, look for the submarine to start filling out “The boats of others.”

How to board the U-96 and get the language module

Meet Immanuel – Kant, your friendly German-speaking submarine AI

The player picks up the speech module in Fallout London

First, you have to jump onto the debris floating in the water to get on board the U-96. On board, you will meet Otto, Hans and the ship’s AI Kant. As you will soon discover, Kant only speaks German, which makes his questioning quite difficult. In order to be able to communicate better with the AI, You must pick up the language module at the Upton Burke headquarters.

The location will be marked on your ATTA-Boy, but once you arrive, you must Watch for patrolling Naval Walker aircraft; These are large, walking mines that will chase you and detonate themselves if they see you. You must sneak past them and enter the Upton-Burke offices without being seen, or simply try to outrun them. Once you’re inside, there are even more automated defenses to dodge.

If you can’t get the sneaking under control, you can use your companion, such as the bulldog Churchill, to absorb the damage for you.

Take the elevator up and then go to the consoles on the upper floor. Along the way you have to look out for some laser towers and at least one Protectron before you reach the console with the speech module. Take the speech module from the console where it is lying and then go back to the U-96 to install it.

Installing the module and escaping the submarine

Talk about philosophy and outsmart the AI

Hans' dialogue menu from Fallout London

As soon as you return to the submarine, Hans takes the language model from you and installs it so that Kant can speak English in no time. Unfortunately This will also cause Kant to prevent all people on the boat from leaving, including you. To escape, you should talk to Kant.

The best thing would be to exhaust his entire dialogue on philosophy. You can see which options you have already selected as they are greyed out. Finally, you have the option to “What is your sacred duty?” After Kant answers, selectAh, to achieve your goals, treat people as a means to an end.

If your Hacker Advantage is high enough, you can hack into the Missile Security System terminal and deal with Kant that way, but you must have a Mastery level Hacker Advantage.

This will cause Kant to shut down the submarine and open the door. On the way out, you can talk to Hans and receive a reward. He gives you his flamethrower, which can do quite a bit of damage. The damage increases the more severe the withdrawal symptoms, so you may want to try hard drugs before picking up this new weapon.

Once you’ve collected everything on the U-96, move on to other cool quests floating around London. If you select Fallout London‘s Vagabond faction, you can use the ‘Catch up‘ quest that rewards some extra luck.
