Drake faces copyright infringement for posting the songs on his Finsta site

It’s unclear why Drake would post the songs on streaming services without notice. However, on Friday (August 9), the 6 God received a copyright infringement notice from Universal Music Group, which briefly suspended his IG Burner account, where the link to the songs originated.

Although the notice named UMG as the plaintiff, it did not specify whether his recently released songs caused the account to violate Instagram’s copyright agreement. But the move has raised further questions about the artist’s legal rights regarding his music and intellectual property.
