Michelle Rodriguez grew her armpit hair for “three months” for the film “Dungeons & Dragons”

Michelle Rodriguez grew “three months’ worth” of armpit hair for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

During a recent appearance on BBC’s The One Show alongside her co-stars Chris Pine and Regé-Jean Page, the actress spoke about the training she underwent to transform herself into a barbarian named Holga Kilgore for the fantasy film.

“I had a blast, it was so funny. But the discipline aspect is something I can do without. Fifteen pounds (six kilograms) of muscle, training for three months beforehand and then coming to Northern Ireland and maintaining that weight for five months, lifting weights five days a week and the guy wakes you up before you go to work,” Michelle explained, before Chris exclaimed: “Armpit hair!”

After the 44-year-old claimed she “grew three months’ worth of armpit hair” for the role, Regé-Jean joked that Michelle was constantly trying to show off her new body hair on set.

“She was always reaching for things on the top shelves,” he laughed, and the “Fast & Furious” star added: “I raised my arms a lot more than the directors wanted to allow in the film. I have to say, I’m a little insulted that they cut out all the arm raising! I was pointing at things…”

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves hits theaters on Friday.
