The Prince and Princess of Wales not only surprised their fans with a video appearance, Prince William also underwent a huge transformation: He has a beard.
On August 11, William and Kate Middleton made a surprise appearance in a video alongside stars such as David Beckham, Snoop Dogg and more. They shared the video on their X-profile @KensingtonRoyal with the caption: “Well done @TeamGB what an incredible journey! Every athlete showed tremendous dedication, heart and passion. You have made us all so proud! We celebrate every triumph at @Paris2024 and look forward to more from @ParalympicsGB later in the summer 🇬🇧🥇.”

In the video, we see Kate wearing a striped wool jumper by MiH ‘Drew’, which she wore in 2017. In the video, she says: “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB!”
William, wearing a blue Adidas shirt, added: “Congratulations on everything you have achieved. You have been an inspiration to us all.”
Not only are we happy to see Kate and William during their time away from the public eye and during Kate’s preventative chemotherapy, but they look great too! We always love seeing Kate in a rewear outfit, but we have to talk about William for a minute: He has a beard?!
Many fans were shocked to see the normally clean-shaven prince with a beard in the video! The royal family has a lot of rules about facial hair and the last time we saw him with a beard was on an outing in December 2008. But honestly, it suits him wonderfully!
For those who don’t know, William and Kate met in 2001 while studying at St Andrews University and began a friendship that soon developed into something more. They later married in 2011 and have been together ever since.
