While Ivanka Trump’s looks tend to reflect her family’s political leanings, she has occasionally strayed from conservative styles. One dress in particular – a yellow number with a heart-shaped silver cutout on the side, seen on her Instagram page in June 2024 – made it look like she was heading for a Kimberly Guilfoyle-style makeover.

Guilfoyle, who is engaged to Trump’s brother Donald Trump Jr., is known for often wearing mismatched outfits. Some left little to the imagination, while others were simply inappropriate looks that didn’t fit the venue or the company she was in. Whether she’s going Barbiecore or getting flirty for her son’s prom photos, Guilfoyle can be counted on to sport a full face of makeup and voluminous curls – two things Trump isn’t known for.
We couldn’t help but wonder what the former president’s older daughter would look like if she dressed more like her future sister-in-law, so we decided to give the mother of three a radical makeover, and honestly, the big hairdo and glamorous makeup kind of suits her.

Ivanka Trump looks stunning with Kimberly Guilfoyle-style hair and makeup
Ivanka Trump’s platinum blonde locks are usually styled straight and sleek. Although we’ve seen her with curls before, her hair doesn’t usually have as much volume at the roots as Kimberly Guilfoyle’s. Trump has said she doesn’t spend much time on her hair, telling New Beauty in 2016, “I don’t own a blow dryer and I’ve never learned how to use one. Most days I go to work with my hair still slightly damp.”

To give her a Guilfoyle-style makeover, our Static Media photo editor grew Trump’s hairline a little higher and gave her curls. The loose curls were modeled after her future sister-in-law’s, but Guilfoyle’s hair is dark while Trump’s is light. The combination of big, bold curls and blonde hair gives Trump a Dolly Parton vibe that we kind of love. It also makes her look more relaxed, although it’s a much more eye-catching look than we’re used to from her.
Although Trump wears makeup, she is not usually glamorous. She may wear red lipstick at big events, but her everyday makeup usually subtly accentuates her natural look. After her Guilfoyleification, however, Trump wears sultry eye shadow and long, full lashes that highlight her beautiful brown eyes.
