Become a DISCOUNT DEN member

When signing up for Frontiers DISCOUNT DEN, travelers pay an annual membership fee as well as a new member sign-up fee. The annual membership fee is $59.99 for a full year. New members pay a $40 sign-up fee, which applies to returning members who have previously canceled their membership.

As members, passengers have access to Frontier’s lowest fares year-round! If passengers are not already members when they sign up to become a DISCOUNT DEN member, they automatically become Frontier Miles members. Each time members fly with Frontier, they earn miles toward another trip.

Only select flights are eligible for Kids Fly Free. You can easily review and book eligible flights on Frontier’s website.

Things to consider before joining Frontiers DISCOUNT DEN

One Kids Fly Free ticket per adult ticket

For each DISCOUNT DEN fare purchased for adults, one child flies free.

Examples of the application of the “Kids Fly Free” campaign:

  • A family of four, whose mother is a member of DISCOUNT DEN, buys the tickets for herself and her husband. They can use the “Kids Fly Free” offer for their two children.
  • A grandmother is a member of DISCOUNT DEN and buys her ticket, her husband’s ticket, her daughter’s ticket, her son-in-law’s ticket and the ticket of her four grandchildren.

Example of when the “Kids Fly Free” promotion cannot be applied:

  • A mother of three children is a member of DISCOUNT DEN. She can use the “Kids Fly Free” promotion for one child, but must buy tickets for her other two children.

Children cannot fly for free when changing flights

If unexpected events occur and passengers need to change their flight after the original booking, the Kids Fly Free promotion will be voided and members may be required to pay the full fare for the child who initially flies free.

I asked a Frontier representative what would happen if a flight was canceled while using the Kids Fly Free promotion.

The Frontier representative said, “If the flight is affected by involuntary changes, Frontier can accommodate your flight at no charge.”

Frontier does not allow unaccompanied minors

Since 2018, Frontier Airlines no longer allows unaccompanied minors. Anyone interested in the Kids Fly Free fare for their child must purchase an adult ticket.

Children cannot fly free on international flights

While Frontier flies to many international destinations, including Aruba, Montego Bay, Cancun, St. Thomas, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Belize and more, DISCOUNT DEN members cannot take advantage of the Kids Fly Free promotion on international flights.

The offer does not include any other fees

When taking advantage of the Kids Fly Free promotion, children travelling must still pay other fees, including for baggage, seats and other travel supplements.

Exclusions when earning

Children flying under the Kids Fly Free program do not earn Frontier miles.
