HONESDALE, PA — “This was absolutely the rainiest fair season I’ve ever experienced since I’ve been a fairgoer and I’ve been going since I was a kid and I’m old lol,” Kristen Elizabeth Frisch wrote in a conversation on the Wayne County Fair’s Facebook page. Christina Tuttle said, “It was a rainy, muddy mess back then. I still enjoyed the derby even though I was covered in mud.”
There was plenty of fun to be had between the raindrops at the Wayne County Fair, which began August 2 and promised nine full days of (sometimes rainy) fun.
