On August 8, 2024, Pokémon Card Summer is here! Promo Card Get Campaign! The Promo Card Pack was made available on the official Pokémon Center website before being distributed in Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Card Gyms across Japan starting two days later. This pack included six promotional reprints of cards from previous Pokémon TCG sets. Of these, the most outstanding was the Pikachu card, a remastered version of the card from Clay Burst (SV2D).
About Pikachu (SV-P Promotional Cards 218/SV-P)
The promotional reprint of this Pikachu card features the Pokémon franchise’s mascot frolicking in a field of flowers alongside Sprigatito and Pawmi, two other Pokémon included in the Pokémon Card Summer Is Here! Promo Card Get Campaign! Promo Card Pack. As the only card with a full-art illustration in the pack, it is undoubtedly the biggest draw for collectors.
Additionally, in the upper left corner of the card, a Maushold can be seen hanging from a vine protruding from a tree. Could this possibly be a hint at an upcoming Maushold promotional card? While there’s no word at all on this so far, this wouldn’t be the first time Creatures Inc. has teased future information about a Pokémon TCG card.
Since this card is part of a 6-card promotional pack, completionists will likely be interested in this card to complete the full 6-card set.
