Perceev launches innovative app for Georgetown to Idaho Springs half marathon

Perceev, the app platform for endurance sports events, will provide services for the Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon in Colorado on August 10, 2024

Carlsbad, CA /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Perceev, an innovative new software-as-a-service platform for endurance racing, will provide an engaging app experience for the 2024 Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon in Colorado.

The Perceev app provides race participants and their fans with all race day information in one easy-to-access place. As participants follow the race, they will receive race notifications directly to their mobile device, which they can view in real time.

The app also features leaderboards, results, a custom map with points of interest, race replays, and special offers from sponsors. Users also have access to a camera in the app, which allows them to take photos, apply custom race stickers, and share on social media.

Part of the Colorado Mountain Half+ Series, the Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon is a must-run for any Colorado runner. This legendary race is one of the most entertaining in the Western United States and one of the oldest half marathons in Colorado. The point-to-point course is a scenic and gently descending mountain course that winds through the Clear Creek Valley. It starts at an elevation of 8,500 feet at Georgetown Lake and ends at an elevation of 7,200 feet in Idaho Springs, with a single hill as the finish!

The event is hosted by the Clear Creek Booster Club and organized by parent volunteers. Proceeds from the GTIS Half Marathon directly benefit middle and high school students in Clear Creek County.
