UFC 305 card: Adesanya vs. Du Plessis and all the fights this weekend

This weekend at UFC 305 there will be a rematch where Israel Adesanya will challenge Dricus Du Plessis for the middleweight title.

Adesanya is seeking a three-time championship title. He hasn’t fought since September, when his second reign came to a shocking end at the hands of Sean Strickland.

In January, Strickland dropped the belt to Du Plessis as he achieved his goal of becoming the first UFC champion to not only be born in Africa, but also to train there throughout his career.

However, the South African angered Adesanya by claiming he was the first “real” African UFC champion. Now the two can settle their differences in Saturday’s main event.
