Tour de Trike 2024

West Chester
16.August

After last weekend’s Tour de Trike was postponed due to rain, West Chester will host this unique cycling race on Friday. Starting at 3:30 p.m., teams of five will compete in a relay race on tricycles to win the coveted Tour de Trike trophy. The race will take place on Gay Street between Church and Darlington Streets, inviting visitors to keep an eye out for these miniature racing machines speeding past them on their way to glory.

The Night of 1000 Taylors – A Swiftie Experience

Come join Holmes for the ultimate Swiftie experience. Party all night long with the Philly Drag Mafia and Brittany Lynn at the Ridley House and sing along to Taylor’s greatest hits. Don’t forget to dress up for the Taylor Swift fashion contest!

Dog day of summer

Manayunk
17.August

Calling all four-legged friends! Manayunk is hosting its Dog Day on August 17th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. along Main Street. With over 30 pet-friendly booths and activities lining the streets, it’s no wonder Fido will be barking like crazy this weekend. Two-legged guests should also check out the “Yappy Hour” offerings at some restaurants like Lucky’s Last Chance, The Goat’s Beard, Mia Ragazza, Yanako and more.

Simon’s Heart – Conshy classic

The inaugural Conshy Classic was created by Simon’s Heart, a charity dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac arrest in children, and brings professional bicycle racing to Conshohocken. The circuit begins at noon on Sunday and starts and finishes on Spring Mill Avenue between Poplar and Ash Streets. Daniel’s Restaurant and Cocktail Bar will be the VIP area that day and will host the podiums for the winners of each race.

Every Thursday until August

Enjoy culture in the heart of Manayunk this summer. Shop at local businesses, dine at fine restaurants, and browse the booths of local merchants. Each month this summer has a theme, with August being Pet Month. With interactive demos, live performances, and movie nights, there is so much to do and see in Manayunk.

Valley Forge Trolley Tours

Celebrate summer by reliving our country’s history this weekend. Enjoy Valley Forge in comfort as this 90-minute guided trolley tour takes guests through one of the turning points of the Revolutionary War. Valley Forge National Park’s 10-mile loop includes stops at Muhlenberg’s Brigade and Washington’s Headquarters, where visitors can disembark and explore the camp on foot.

Valley Forge Casino Resort Summer Concert Series

This year’s Valley Beach Music Festival kicked off Memorial Day weekend at Valley Forge Casino Resort with Shot of Southern. Every Saturday for the rest of the summer, a new artist will take the stage in Valley Beach with a setlist from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
