Robert Wayne Howard, 66
MACON, GA — Robert Wayne Howard, 66, of Macon, Georgia, was tragically killed Tuesday in a head-on collision near the intersection of Tucker Road and Foster Road.
Born in Macon on April 23, 1957, Robert was a lifelong resident and pillar of the community. He retired after a long career with the Macon Water Authority, where he dedicated over 30 years to ensuring the quality and safety of the city’s water supply. Robert was known for his deep commitment to his family, his keen sense of humor, and his willingness to help anyone in need.
Robert was an avid fisherman, a hobby he shared with his grandchildren, teaching them not only the art of fishing but also the finer points of patience and perseverance. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macon, where he was a regular volunteer.
