If you go to Starbucks in the Campus Center of the University of Hawaii At Mānoa, a new experience awaits you for your latte or sandwich.

Starbucks reopens in Campus Center with new features

Starbucks will reopen on Monday, August 19, freshly renovated over the summer with a new interior design, Nitro Cold Brew, convenient mobile order pickup window, and a vibrant mural by Punky Aloha Studio.

Starbucks in the Campus Center has modified hours for Welcome Week from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will offer samples and other specials during the first two weeks of operation. Regular store hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A mobile order pickup window has been installed on the Diamond Head side of the store to reduce in-store crowds. Customers can place a mobile order through the Starbucks app and take advantage of Starbucks promotions, collect Stars and redeem Starbucks Rewards.

In-store payment options include Meal Plan Points and Dining Dollars, cash, credit/debit cards, and Starbucks gift cards. Meal plan customers who wish to pay with Meal Swipe equivalents must place a mobile order through the GRUBHUB app.

Punky Aloha mood

The new, colorful mural by local artist Shar Tuiasoa of Punky Aloha Studios is a colorful focal point of the store. Tuiasoa is a freelance illustrator from Kailua who has created murals for several other Starbucks locations.

“This artwork connects the rich culture of Mānoa, past and present, through a fresh and modern lens, using a bold color palette and whimsical composition to bring joy to this special place where students gather every day,” said Tuiasoa.
