Wednesday, 12:05 p.m. ET – Great Lakes (LAD) @ Lake County (CLE)Travis Bazzana and Josue De Paula have a chance to face off in a High-A matinee. Bazzana, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft, showed up at Lake County in late July and delivered two multi-hit performances in his first three games. The former Oregon State Beaver holds the program’s career records for runs (220), hits (251), home runs (45), doubles (52), walks (180) and stolen bases (66). At just 19 years old, De Paula (MLB’s No. 49 prospect) has a unique combination of power and speed in his 6-foot-3 frame. He hit six big flies and posted an .835 OPS in Single-A before his promotion to Great Lakes.

Wednesday, 6:45 p.m. ET – Lehigh Valley (PHI) @ Worcester (BOS)Worcester will have three new hitters this week — and potentially for the rest of the season — as the Red Sox’s top prospects Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony and Kyle Teel were promoted to Triple-A on Sunday. Mayer (MLB’s No. 5 prospect) is the leader of Boston’s next wave, and has a .307/.370/.480 batting average in 77 games in Double-A this season. Anthony (MLB’s No. 14) and Teel (MLB’s No. 27) both hit double-digit home runs and posted an OPS over .800 for Portland. Opposing the Big Three is Phillies No. 6 prospect Mick Abel. The club’s No. 2 pitching prospect is coming off six scoreless innings with eight strikeouts for the IronPigs.

Thursday, 7:38 p.m. ET – Columbus (CLE) @ Iowa (CHC)Just one stop from Wrigley Field, Iowa is developing the next generation of outfielders for the Cubs. Five top-100 prospects – Matt Shaw (No. 25), Owen Caissie (No. 36), James Triantos (No. 50), Moises Ballesteros (No. 60) and Kevin Alcántara (No. 74) – are on the roster. Shaw, Triantos and Alcántara already made their series debuts for the I-Cubs last week. Opposite the future Northsiders will be Kyle Manzardo, the MLB’s No. 52 prospect. The left-handed first baseman, who has played 30 games in the major leagues this season, hit two home runs for the Clippers last week.

Friday, 7:10 p.m. ET – Somerset (NYY) @ Hartford (COL)MLB No. 35 prospect Chase Dollander has settled into his new home in Double-A with six scoreless innings and six strikeouts in his fourth start for the Yard Goats. The Rockies’ 2023 first-round pick will look to keep that momentum going against the Yankees’ No. 2 prospect Spencer Jones (MLB No. 71). Jones posted four multihit performances in his previous series for the Patriots, while Adael Amador (MLB No. 44) had three hits for the Yard Goats during the week.

Saturday, 6:45 p.m. ET – Syracuse (NYM) @ Rochester (WSH)In a clash of future NL East opponents, MLB No. 3 prospect Dylan Crews is hitting three top-100 hitters on the doorstep of the major leagues. Crews – the Nationals’ second pick in the 2023 draft – was in top form late last week, hitting home runs in back-to-back games and showing off his ability in center field in a Triple-A Red Wings lineup that also includes MLB No. 41 Brady House. For Syracuse, MLB No. 36 prospect Drew Gilbert – the top prospect acquired in the 2023 Justin Verlander trade – returned to the club on July 23 after a hamstring injury sidelined him for more than three months.

Sunday, 8:00 p.m. ET – Stockton (OAK) @ San Jose (SF)As the 2024 draftees slowly adjust to their professional debuts, Nick Kurtz and James Tibbs III will face off in a duel of first-round picks in Single-A. Kurtz – the A’s No. 4 pick – hit a home run in his debut for Stockton last week and collected two hits and RBIs. Tibbs also got his first hit early in his debut for San Jose before adding two multi-hit games later in the series. The Giants’ 13th pick collected five hits in his first 18 at-bats.
