According to Patrick Mahomes, Taylor Swift is Travis Kelce’s girlfriend and style influencer.
During a chat with SiriusXM NFL Radio (Channel 88) for a special town hall meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 13, Mahomes, 28, joked that his 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs teammate grew his hair long because of his superstar girlfriend, also 34.
“I was trying to get him to grow his hair longer and all of a sudden Taylor makes him do it,” Mahomes said of the NFL tight end.
Kelce wore a buzz cut for most of the summer until he returned to training camp in late July.

While Swift is a fan of Kelce’s new look, his hairdresser Patrick Regan previously told Fox News that Swift also praised his shorter hairstyle.

“Taylor loves the haircut. She’s watched me cut my hair several times and always compliments me afterward,” Regan said in February. Kelce also wasn’t afraid to experiment with his wardrobe.

After rocking a series of unforgettable game day looks last NFL season, his mother Donna Kelce shared The Martha Stewart Podcast that he had always been a “fashionista” and noted that his “image” and appearance were “very important” to him.
“But not so much to be perfect,” she said during an appearance on the podcast in May. “He’s more about putting a smile on people’s faces. Sometimes he dresses the way he has to, but most of the time he does it to make people laugh or talk. And he loves being the center of attention, we all know that.”
The Are you smarter than a star? The presenter has admitted that he is his own worst critic on and off the pitch.
“I’m my worst critic. Nobody can tell me how bad I was in a game, I know it immediately as soon as the game is over. I know what I have to do to get better and everything,” he said in a conversation with reporters in July.
