Dricus Du Plessis vs. Israel Adesanya – Full Preliminary Fight Predictions

The UFC travels to Perth, Western Australia this week for UFC 305 and MMA KO’s Drew Beaupré is here to give predictions for all 7 fights from the prelims and early preliminaries of the card.

Junior Tafa vs Valter Walker

After Walker’s lackluster UFC debut against Łukasz Brzeski, it’s difficult to predict this fight with any real certainty. “The Clean Monster” is certainly capable of taking down and controlling Tafa as long as his stamina holds up, so I’m leaning slightly towards Walker to avoid getting caught by something big before he can get things to the mat.

Josh Culibao vs Ricardo Ramos

This clash looks to be a welcome change of style for Ramos after the Brazilian was forced to submit in the early rounds of his last two fights. Ramos is always a threat to land something striking in exchanges, but I trust Culibao’s approach a little more if this fight is mostly a stand-up fight.

Casey O’Neill vs. Luana Santos

O’Neill’s remarkable resurgence was halted by the first losses of her career, and now she will look to get back on track against a replacement opponent in the form of Luana Santos after Tereza Bledá withdrew from UFC 305. Santos has a huge chance to climb the women’s flyweight rankings here, but I’m on O’Neill’s side to end her losing streak against the Brazilian.

Jack Jenkins vs Herbert Burns

Burns will face the threat of a fourth consecutive loss when he steps into the cage to face Jenkins in Australia. The prospect of being released from the UFC should certainly motivate “The Blaze” to get his first win since 2020, but after Burns was also finished in his last three outings, I have to tip Jenkins to get the job done here.

Tom Nolan vs Alex Reyes

Reyes returned to the Octagon last year, exactly 6 years after his first UFC appearance, but unfortunately, “The Executioner” was once again knocked out in the first round. These two results do not bode well for a fight against Nolan, who has KO’d five of his seven professional victories.

Kenan Song vs Ricky Glenn

Both of these men could be fighting for their spots on the UFC roster when they step into the cage at UFC 305. A move up to welterweight could prove to be a smart move for Glenn, but after spending his entire career at lightweight and featherweight, I have to side with the fighter who is already comfortable at 170-pounds.

Stewart Nicoll vs Jesus Aguilar

Nicoll has a huge chance to wow the crowd in his home country when he makes his debut in the opening bout of UFC 305. The undefeated flyweight is a dangerous finisher, but I’m on Aguilar’s side and would spoil the Australian’s debut due to his experience against stronger opposition.
