Whether your gym drawer is in dire need of a refresh or you’re embarking on a fitness journey, buying new activewear is always the answer—even if our credit cards disagree. Stocking up on high-performance leggings and tennis dresses from high-end brands like Spanx and Alo can be quite expensive, especially if you’re looking to social media and fitness influencers for inspiration. Luckily, Target’s athletic brand All in Motion has knockoff athleisure styles for these retailers at a fraction of the price. Read on to see what Target shoppers are buying.

Described as a “do-it-all” dress, Spanx’s Active Racerback Dress is a customer favorite. It’s designed for the park, yoga, pickleball, or as a casual everyday outfit.

The Spanx dress retails for $138, but Target has a copy for just $30. Like the Spanx version, the Target dress has a front zip closure, built-in shorts, and a hidden pocket.

“I absolutely love this dress,” wrote one satisfied Target shopper. “It’s so comfortable and much more affordable than a lot of workout dresses I’ve seen.”

“It’s slimming but still supports in all the right places. The material is breathable and the dress is flowy at the bottom,” another person shared. “I always get so many compliments when I wear this dress and people are always shocked when I say it’s Target and not a higher end brand.”

If you can’t imagine shelling out $74 for the Alosoft Backspin Skirt, check out Target.

The retailer’s active brand, All in Motion, just released its Women’s Knit Slit Skort, which shoppers say is essentially an Alosoft copy. The pants come in sizes XS to 3X, in four different colors, and are nearly $50 cheaper than Alo.

“This is hands down the best skort I’ve ever worn! I absolutely love this style,” wrote one Target reviewer. “It’s extremely comfortable, fashionable, and practical (especially the pockets).”

For $53 less, shoppers can purchase Target’s lookalike version of Alo’s Airbrush Streamlined Skirt.

While Alo’s version has a thigh-length slit, Target’s skort has side pockets. Target also offers more sizes.

“Love the length, the simple curved hem, and the style. Overall A+!!!! I have both the white and black. The white one is not, I repeat, NOT see-through – WIN!” raved one Target shopper. “It feels so soft and smooth and just looks a little more sophisticated than some of my other skirts.”

Alo’s best-selling workout dress is $128, but at Target, All in Motion has two similar versions for $30.

While the necklines are slightly different than Alo, Target’s Asymmetrical Active Dress and High-Neck Wrap Active Dress feature the same stylish two-tone piping and A-line silhouette.

“This is SOOO flattering! I’m a curvy girl and I can hardly find sporty dresses that suit me. The fabric is buttery soft,” said one shopper of the asymmetrical dress.

“I’m obsessed with this dress! Great stretchy material and love the soft but bright pink color. Has built-in shorts and a zipper at the back. Padding in the bust area that can be removed. The stretchy fabric is very flattering,” another shopper shared of the high-neck version.
