Hina Khan shares her joy at regaining her lost hair while fighting breast cancer

Actress Hina Khan, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for terminal breast cancer, has shared a heartwarming video of herself finding her hair again after making a wig out of her own hair, bringing her “comfort” during this difficult time.

The 36-year-old actress, who has 20.2 million followers on Instagram, shared a Reel video in which she can be seen showing off her hair secured to a black cap.

The shot also shows Hina wearing the cap and smiling from ear to ear because she is wearing the lenses. She is wearing a white crop top, a black and white polka dot jacket and beige pants.

Along with the video, she wrote a long note that read: “When I was diagnosed, I knew I was going to lose my hair. I decided to cut it off of my own accord while it was still healthy, long and strong. I decided to make a wig out of my OWN hair that would give me comfort during this difficult time. And I must say, it was an empowering decision and I am so proud of it. And I want to send a special message to all my brave women hearts out there who are going through similar struggles… If you agree and agree with my decision… I suggest you do the same… it will at least make one thing a lot easier and you will feel better… you will feel at home.”

“You know, it feels like I’m somehow reunited with my lost hair when I wear it. It feels good, it feels cozy and it feels like home. It’s just a phase, I knew I had to go through it and preemptively decided to normalize it for myself first and now that I’m using it, I thought it would be a good story to share with you all. Because you have been like a dream… it’s so heartwarming, comforting and encouraging to see your reaction wherever I go, whenever I go out, my God, I’m shown so much love and concern,” she shared.

The post ended with, “It’s so overwhelming to see the tears in a stranger’s eyes when they wish me a speedy recovery. I’m just overwhelmed by the positive energy you guys are sending my way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know the world is praying for me. Lekin Phir bhi Dua please #ScaredNotScared #AWindowToMyJourney #OneDayAfterAnother #DaddysStrongGirl #TheGirlWhoNeverGivesUp.”

Actress Amruta Khanvilkar commented on the video, saying, “Love you baby.” Dhami Drashti left red heart emojis in the comments section.

Her next film planned is “Country of Blind.”
