Taking to social media, brides of 2024 have revealed how they got their dresses for under £100.
Although there are many wedding dresses available in retail stores, they often have a poor fit because they are not tailored to the individual body shape.
But now brides have discovered a clever trick to get a suit tailored to fit them like a glove without spending hundreds.
In the Facebook group Weddings On A Budget UK, one bride revealed: “Review of the dress from Aliexpress! I paid £62.28 including postage.”

“The online shop was great, they took all my measurements and kept me updated on the production process!
“It took about 6 weeks to arrive but it fit me like a glove! I put a loop underneath so I could lift it up, so comfortable and light! It wasn’t too hot/cold. It didn’t slide down.”
It turns out that some stores allow you to click on the dress you want and have it customized to your exact measurements instead of choosing a standard size.
To ensure that your wedding dress fits like a glove, you will find a button for “special sizes” on the far right next to the regular sizes.
And the bride was not the only one who was impressed by the standard of Aliexpress wedding dresses.
Another added pictures of her beautiful wedding dress, which featured floral details all over the dress.
She added: “I just wanted to leave a quick review of my AliExpress wedding dress in case anyone is undecided about whether to purchase one.
“I was absolutely thrilled with my dress, which was made by a seller on AliExpress called “Sansa Prom Dress Store”. The seller was really accommodating to my requests.
“I told her my measurements and she made it in my size. And I asked her to alter the backless dress to one with fabric on the back so I could wear a bra, and she did that.”
She revealed that the dress cost £88, but after postage and taxes the total came to £103.
